The blog where I share excerpts of the stories that I have written.

The Railway Children

The Railway Children - E. Nesbit A classic children's novel...updated and kept moving with strong visuals and more dialogue than exposition. If you want to spend time with some of the most warm-hearted characters ever to be found between the covers of a book, this novel is certainly for you.

Gagapocalypse

Gagapocalypse - Moxie Mezcal As I read Gagapoclaypse, I felt I were reading something more unusual than life itself.

The Alchemyst

The Alchemyst - Michael Scott, Erik Singer Beyond stunning, it is exciting in the real sense of true art...the kind of story you’ve never read before!

Blood and Snow

Blood and Snow - RaShelle Workman I really enjoyed the new twist on Snow White. By putting vampires into the mix, the story became better than the original.

The Torturer's Daughter

The Torturer's Daughter - Zoe Cannon Out of all the dystopian stories that I have read, I enjoyed this story. Unlike many of the other dystopian stories about the hero rising against a faceless government, we get a glimpse into the private life of a torturer's daughter and the many choices that she must make.

Eleanor & Park

Eleanor & Park - Rainbow Rowell Even though this was only a sample, I found myself enjoying this book. I hope to read it in full soon.

Argo

Argo - Vasileios Kalampakas Argo has all kinds of emotional wallop. But what makes the emotion possible is that the story is built like a finely crafted instrument that perfectly brings up the issues such as humanity and being able to choose for oneself.

How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls

How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls - Zoey Dean Maybe I'm a bit burned out on the whole "spoiled filthy rich princess thing", but I will admit that this was a very good book. I really enjoyed reading it and you should too.

Addison's Mark - xld

Addison's Mark - xld - Matt Kuvakos Compelling, frightening and exceptionally well-written, Addison's Mark is destined to become a sleeper hit for writer Matt Kuvakos. The incredibly tense plot and mysterious characters will keep readers up late at night, jumping at every sound, and turning the pages until they've devoured the book.

Poe: Nevermore

Poe: Nevermore - Rachel M. Martens (recieved a free copy of this story from StoryCartel in exchange for an honest review) Finally, a story that can truly capture and keep my attention--not an easy task for a book! A clever, entertaining story.

Enemy Among Us

Enemy Among Us - Kevin Hamilton (received a free copy of this book from StoryCartel in exchange for an honest review) This is an old-fashioned supernatural novel that connects through flesh and blood. Enemy Among Us is a triumph.

Daughter of Nothing

Daughter of Nothing - Eric Edstrom It is not easy to write a story about quiet courage and unassuming heroes, but this book rises to that challenge and hits one right out of the park.

Hour of the Wolf (Steam and Stone Saga 1)

Hour of the Wolf (Steam and Stone Saga 1) - Andrius B. Tapinas (Received a free copy of this book from StoryCartel in exchange for an honest review) Hour of the Wolf is an interesting steampunk story that captivates readers from page one. The author creates an element of suspense that quickly builds until the chillingly unbelievable conclusion.

Amari

Amari - Steven Atwood (received a free copy of this book from StoryCartel in exchange for an honest review) I love the mix of dystopia and science fiction, and it is a work of fiction worthy to be called a 'classic' some day. The heroine isn't afraid to fight for freedom and she will get what she wants, even if she has to kill people in order to get it. Please read this book!

The Island (The Island #1)

The Island (The Island #1) - Jen Minkman (received a free copy of this book from StoryCartel in exchange for an honest review) The Island (the first book in the Island Series) is a quick moving, funny, sharp novella. It is a gripping read full of questions about good, evil, and human nature.

The Hannaria Series Out of the Gray

The Hannaria Series Out of the Gray - Patricia Gilliam (received a free copy of this book from StoryCartel in exchange for an honest review) As I read The Hannaria Series Book 1: Out of the Gray, I felt I were reading something more alive than life itself...a gripping and highly entertaining book - not to be missed!
